As you’re probably aware, the United States Government announced a new Executive Order which outlined some significant changes to customs obligations and a new process for goods being imported into the USA.

As it stands there isn’t currently a way to get any consignments shipped to the US before the 29th of August and avoid the customs duties being charged at point of arrival. Currently if orders are delivered with duties unpaid, customers are liable to pay a flat fee of $80 to customs for their consignments.

All carriers, Royal Mail and private, cannot guarantee that packages shipped from the UK hereon will reach the USA before the 29th of August. So essentially all consignments will have to have duties paid prior to arrival and unfortunately as the de minimis of $800 is still in place there isn't a way for carriers to collect duties prior to that date and for that reason shipping to the USA is temporarily suspended until after the 29th of August.

This is obviously  having an impact on our services and customers,  hence we are suggesting the following options if you wish to place an order with us before the 29th of August:

Option 1: Place your orders as usual and we shall send your order via a private carrier after the 29th of August, however please bear in mind there will be an additional cost in shipping fees and customs duties to pay on your orders, therefore we shall send you a separate invoice for these to be collected prior to shipping.

Option 2: Place your orders after the 29th of August when Royal Mail resumes its service and enables postal delivery duties paid, duties will be calculated and collected at point of sale/check out.

Please bear with us whilst we navigate the change in importing goods to the USA. We greatly appreciate your patience and support!
