Welcome to Buy The Same Token, a place where we combine our passion for craft with our love of all things tabletop! Based in Hove, UK, our studio consists of a dedicated team of individuals who share a common love of games. That means we’re not just designing and producing, we’re constantly playing and reseaching. We hope to upgrade our games to the best they can be, and we’d love to do that for yours as well!

Community:

There are only so many hours in a day, but we dedicate as many of them as we can to playing the games we support. We love to meet other gamers and always keep an open ear for what you’d like to see or how we can improve. If you ever meet one of us at an event (look out for the BTST T-shirts!) or simply have an idea to share with us, don’t hesitate to come say hi!

Sustainability:

Modelmaking is an industry that has a dramatically changing relationship with waste and as such we’re doing our part to keep it as low as possible. All of our acrylic waste is retained and collected to be recycled by recycledplastics.org.uk.

Human-centric Art:

We are committed to employing living breathing craftspeople in the creation of its’ products and will never employ the use of artificial intelligence in the process of design or drawing. We believe in the stories and ideas imbued in our designs and pledge not to dilute this.

Quality:

Every one of our products is conceived, designed and manufactured in-house in our studio in Hove, UK. This means we hold ourselves and the quality of our product to the utmost standard. You can rest easy knowing the quality of your token collection will remain the highest it can be.

BTST was founded by Chris in 2014 with a stack of X-Wing Minis and a laser cutter, using 20 years experience as an Architectural Modelmaker to forge the finest upgrades in the galaxy. Since then, our attention to detail and goal of a truly professional finish is something recognised by many of our customers and what started as a small sideline is now a full time business.

These days, we’re a small team of people dedicated to gaming and craft. From miniature wargaming, to card games and RPGs, we harness a vast array of gaming knowledge to create unique and innovative upgrades for your gaming requirements.
