EU Right of Withdrawal / Returns
Important Updates for Our EU Customers
Buy The Same Token · EU Regulatory Update
We want to keep you informed about regulatory changes affecting orders shipped to the European Union. Below is what's changing, when it takes effect, and what it means for you when you shop with us.
Your Right to Cancel (Right of Withdrawal)
If you're an EU consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason, within a 14-day "cooling-off period."
- For goods: 14 days starting from the date you receive your order.
- For services: 14 days starting from the day the contract is agreed.
To cancel, simply contact us within this window using our withdrawal form / contact details. Once we receive your request, we'll confirm it by email and let you know the next steps for returning your order.
Please note: items that are made to order, customised, or clearly personalised for you are exempt from this right, as they cannot be resold. If you've ordered a custom piece, this will be made clear to you before you complete your purchase.
For full details, see our Refund & Returns Policy.
Changes to Customs Duty — Effective 1 July 2026
From 1 July 2026, the EU is removing the customs duty exemption that previously applied to parcels valued at €150 or below.
What This Means for Your Order
- A flat customs duty charge of €3 per item will now apply to parcels shipped from outside the EU to consumers within the EU, regardless of the parcel's total value.
- This charge is calculated based on the HS (Harmonized System) classification code assigned to each product, in line with EU customs regulations.
- This is separate from VAT, which continues to be collected at checkout under our IOSS registration (see below).
We'll show this charge clearly at checkout so there are no surprises at your door.
A New EU-Wide Handling Fee — Coming November 2026
In addition to the customs duty change above, the EU is introducing an EU-wide handling fee on e-commerce goods, expected to take effect from November 2026. Further details on the exact amount and how it will be applied are still being finalised by the EU, and we will update this page as soon as official guidance is available.
VAT Stays the Same
Nothing changes with how VAT is handled. We remain registered under the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme, meaning VAT continues to be calculated and collected at checkout based on your country's rate, so there are no unexpected VAT bills when your order arrives.
